We stand for the following values at Evangelical Baptist Church:

1) God’s love – We value the love of God which He has for us in Christ as a most cherished treasure and seek to love Him with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength.

2) Centrality of Jesus Christ – We value the glory and the supremacy of the Lord Jesus Christ above everything else in the life of the church.

3) Preaching and teaching of the Bible – We value the life-transforming preaching and teaching of the divinely inspired and inerrant Word of God as primarily accomplished through Bible exposition.

4) Sound Doctrine – We value sound Evangelical biblical doctrine which is in accordance with the saving grace of God through faith in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

5) Sovereignty of God – We value the sovereign love and grace of the triune God in salvation, ministry, and life. All the goodness that we have is entirely because of His unmerited favor bestowed upon us, the undeserving. This same attitude of grace must undergird our interaction with one another and our ministries.

6) Fellowship – We value relating to, enjoying, supporting and caring for one another in grace and love.

7) Prayer – We value private and corporate prayer as means of communion with God, and which is the God-ordained power behind our church’s ministry.

8) Discipleship – We value learning God’s Word, practicing it, and equipping each other in view of the Holy Spirit's gifts to us so that we may become living examples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

9) Evangelism and Missions – We value sharing the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ through the proclamation of the gospel of salvation from sin by mobilizing and sending our people to all who need to hear it; both in the local community and to the ends of the earth.

10) Outreach – We value reaching out both to the physically and the spiritually needy through the resources we have been blessed with by God.

11) Families – We value the traditional family as the foundational unit of society.

12) Christ-exalting and Spirit-filled Attitudes and Actions: We value Christ-honoring attitudes and actions such as love, humility, forgiveness, faith, grace, mercy, repentance, peace, service, faithfulness, unity, generosity, accountability, teachability, and self-control.

13) Worship – We value ascribing to God the honor due to His name as we worship Him with our hearts, minds, and our God-given resources.
